What side of history are you on?

In the 18^th century, Europeans justified genocide against Native Americans by calling them Savages and labeling them as either non-human or sub-human. 

In the 18^th and 19^th centuries, Americans justified the owning, selling, abusing, and killing of African men, women, and children by calling them non-human or sub-human. 

In the 20^th Century, the German National Socialist Party (Nazi’s) justified the genocide of Jews by calling them non-human or sub-human. 

Who was it that recognized Native American’s as human?  Missionaries did.  Who fought to free slaves, and even gave their lives to set them free?  Christians did.  Who hid Jews from the Nazi’s?  Many Christians did.  Who was on the right side of history?  Christians were.

In America, we have justified killing nearly 60 million babies by calling them non-human or sub-human with legally sanctioned abortion.  Who stands up against this inhumane injustice?  Christians do.

The media will pass Christians off as barbaric women-hating conservatives who are not as evolved or forward thinking as the non-Christian world.  Well, if fighting against the murder of millions of people is considered uneducated, uninformed, and non-evolved, then that is exactly what we are. 

Before you go thinking that I am a right-wing Republican Christian with a political agenda, think again.  From 2003 to 2007, Republicans controlled the House, the Senate, the Presidency, and had a conservative majority in the Supreme Court.  And in those 4 years, they did NOTHING to stop abortion.  They have an unholy alliance with the American Christian Church where they say what we want to hear, do nothing to back up their words, and we keep voting them in.  It's high time we hold them accountable and replace them with true pro-life leaders.

Almost 300,000,000 Americans claim to consider themselves Christian.  We have the power and the numbers to make abortion the key issue and to hold politicians accountable for actions, not words.  But do you care enough to yell about it?  Will you vote your conscience?  Will you fight for life, or sit back and watch genocide happen in front of you?
