Are you a victim of Propaganda? More than likely, you are, and have been duped by the media and our public education system.
Who is the party of the rich?
Of the 33 Presidents who have served in the Democratic or Republican Party (14 Democrats, and 19 Republicans), the wealthiest were democrats. The net worth of those 14 democrats was 5 times higher than that of Republicans.
All Republicans combined: Net worth = $300 Million
All Democrats combined: Net worth = $1.4 Billion
Who is the party of the rich? Democrats. They continually want to raise the INCOME tax on the "wealthy." Why? Because it keeps people who are working (and earning a "wage") from ever reaching an equal status of wealth with them. Wealthy people don't have WAGES to be taxed. Republicans fight to lower taxes on wage earners, and are falsely accused of being against the working man. Wealthy Democrats fight to raise taxes on those who are working, especially those who are successful, to prevent them from ever reaching the uber-wealthy status with them.
Which party was founded on freeing slaves and giving full rights to African Americans? Republicans. Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican ever voted into office, and gave his life and the lives of thousands of Americans for the rights of African Americans.
Congressional vote to free slaves:
Republican 100%,
Democrat 23%.
Here is the one that will SHOCK you...
What party was affiliated with the creation of the KKK? Quote:
"the Klan quickly became a terrorist organization in service of the Democratic Party and white supremacy."

Which party gave African American's the right to vote? Republicans passed the bill, Democrat President Johnson Vetoed the bill. Republicans had enough votes to override the veto.
The Democratic Party’s national campaign theme in 1868:
"This is a white man’s country, let white men rule. We’re the Democratic Party." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1868_Democratic_National_Convention
Which party supported women's suffrage? Democrats fought it for decades. Republicans fought for 40 years to grant women the right to vote. Not until 1920 did Republicans get control of the house and senate to pass the bill. But even then, democrat let states refused to ratify it until the 1970's. Luckily there were enough republican controlled states to make it law regardless of democratic opposition.
The data proving that it is Republicans who consistently support minorities and women is overwhelming, yet media driven propaganda has probably taught you otherwise. If you thought it was Democrats who were for minorities, then you have been duped.
